These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SchoolPadi platform and mobile app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

• Accounts are created for schools and their authorised administrators, staff, parents and students.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data or systems.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Misuse student, parent or staff data accessed through the platform.

3. School data & ownership

Schools retain ownership of the records and data they upload. By using the Service, you grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display that data so we can deliver the platform's features to your school community.

4. Fees & payments

• Certain features, including online fee collection, may involve charges or transaction fees.
• Payments made through the platform are processed by third-party payment partners.
• Fees paid are subject to the refund policies of the individual school unless stated otherwise.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates or changes that temporarily affect availability.

6. Intellectual property

The SchoolPadi name, logo, software and design are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify or redistribute any part of the Service without our permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached or if required to protect users or the platform. You may stop using the Service at any time; schools may request account closure.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SchoolPadi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
